MOVE wordmark with a pathway connecting knowledge, strategy and action nodes

Turn what you care about into a strategy for change.

MOVE is built by and for young people providing the knowledge, tools, and guidance to understand civic challenges, develop stronger strategies, and take meaningful action.

KnowledgeStrategyAction

Built by young people who know what it feels like to care deeply—and not know where to start.

Why MOVE

Young people are not apathetic. The systems around them have not adapted.

Young people are already questioning, organizing, communicating, and building communities in new ways. But many institutions still treat them as audiences, beneficiaries, or occasional consultants instead of decision-makers.

The problem is not a lack of interest. It is a lack of meaningful opportunities, accessible tools, strategic support, and real power.

  • Young people care.

Their participation may not always look like traditional engagement.

  • Access is not influence.

Being invited into a room does not mean having power within it.

  • Energy needs strategy.

Caring about an issue is the beginning—not the complete plan.

Built differently

Not another project designed for young people without young people.

Youth-centered by design

MOVE begins with the realities, language, questions, and needs of young people.

Strategy, not just inspiration

It moves beyond motivational messages by providing practical tools for real decisions.

Context before templates

MOVE does not assume the same solution works everywhere. Understand your reality before taking action.

A space to experiment

Question, test ideas, make mistakes, reflect, and find your next move without needing all the answers first.

Built by young people who understand what it means to care deeply, navigate uncertainty, and search for a meaningful way to act.

The story behind MOVE

It started with a question about youth apathy. The research revealed a different problem.

MOVE began with a question: Why are so many young people described as apathetic or disengaged from democracy?

Conversations, research, and experiences with youth activists across different countries revealed a different reality. Young people are not indifferent. Many are already participating, organizing, communicating, and creating alternatives—but traditional institutions often fail to recognize these forms of engagement or provide meaningful pathways for leadership.

MOVE was created to help close that gap by making civic knowledge, strategic tools, and personalized guidance more accessible to young people who want to create change.

You already care. Now decide what comes next.
